Who are we?
We are an engineering consultancy specialising exclusively in the design of steel framed building structures and associated connections/joints.
Founded in 2000, we have since built an enviable client base of leading steelwork fabricators in the UK. Our directors have extensive steelwork experience and knowledge developed over decades in the industry.
Our approach
Our approach to steelwork design is to arrive at the most efficient overall design solution considering all critical input factors. These factors include safety, fabrication efficiency, material cost and availability, assembled piece size and weight restrictions to meet transportation or crane capacity, ease of site erection, minimising/reducing lifts and working at height, ensuring partially erected frames are stable during construction, ongoing maintenance and ultimately the future demolition and recycling of the framework.
Our long-standing client relationships mean we understand and consider each client’s preferred manufacturing and site erection methods and tailor our designs accordingly.

We pride ourselves on providing timely, clear, concise and code compliant calculations with fully detailed sketches to make draughting, fabrication & site erection processes run as smoothly and safely as possible.
Our quality of service means drawing offices seldom need to request additional information and checking engineers rarely have comments on the designs produced.
